KT&C HD-TVI CCTV Security Cameras & Systems – Part I

HD-TVI (High Definition Transport Video Interface) is founded on established HD analog video and data transmission over coaxial cabling, which can support not just 720P/1080P video signals, but additionally audio and data signals over longer cable runs – all with ZERO latency. Able to adapt digital signal to analog signals, it expands transmission distances, reduces total costs and subsequently decreases total video storage space. Impressive additional transmission distances with HD-TVI can reach upwards of 300 to 500 meters (984.252 to 2952.76 feet). Cost effective and easy to install and use, this new format leaves other HD analog formats hoping for a spot in the sun! Whereas HD-SDI (High Definition Serial Digital Interface) and HD-CVI (High Definition Composite Video Interface) are able to maintain 720P/1080P video signals, HD-TVI was ‘born’ with its strength in transmission distance, and becomes the ultimate answer for high definition surveillance systems.

By simply replacing one’s current analog camera and DVR (Digital Video Recorder) with the most up to date HD-TVI camera and DVR, surveillance systems can be easily upgraded to a brand new 1080P HD system, without the need of additional installation knowledge or cost.

KT&C has seized this new HD-TVI technology, and has state-of-the-art cameras for security and CCTV (Closed Circuit Television). Always ahead of the curve, KT&C offers the new HD-TVI miniature cameras, which are not widely available. The revolutionary compact mini KEZ-C2MI4 HD-TVI square camera is able to capture images via small pinhole lens, and is ideal for specific security applications where the camera needs to be invisible. Sporting a 1/2.7” Progressive Scan CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Silicon) imaging sensor, and 1930 (H) x 1088 (V) effective pixels, this tiny indoor device has a 3.6mm megapixel board lens / 4.3mm super pinhole lens. KT&C KEZc2MI4 HDTVI Mini Camera

This camera’s size will surprise you; its body is only 1.18” x 1.18” (30mm x 30mm), it’s depth with board lens is 1.15” (29.3mm) and with pinhole lens is .74“ (18.8mm). Weighing approximately 30g (1 ounce) plus cable, it comes housed in a black metal case, and has a detachable video and power cables that are less than 23” long (58.5cm). Multiple image control settings include flip, mirror, gain, hue, sharpness, and contrast, with external up the cable OSD (On Screen Display) menu control. Small, but truly MIGHTY!

Its partner in crime is the HD-TVI, ultra-compact KEZ-C2MIP4 camera, with a board type 3.7mm lens and 4.3mm super cone pinhole lens camera. With its 1/2.7” progressive scan CMOS imaging sensor and 1080p, 30 frames per second ability, video recording now leaps into the future. 1930 (H) x 1088 (V) effective pixels ensure effective incoming lighting is achieved for the final image. This camera has up the cable menu control ability, and also comes contained in a black metal case. Digital day and night (auto, color, and black and white), it has five white balance positions, and its two privacy zones have adjustable size and positions. Flip, mirror, gain, hue, sharpness, contrast image control settings, and auto, color, black and white day and night settings allow this camera to record the finest images around. This KEZ-C2MIP4 camera’s HD-TVI longer transmission distances are amazing: color 300m (984.252 feet) with RG59 cabling, and black and white 500m (1640.42 feet) at RG59 cabling. Video output mode is HD-TVI: 1080P at 30fps (frames per second). With the exact same small exterior size as the KEZ-C2MI4 HD-TVI camera, multiple options are available for any security application.

Stay tuned for next week’s post about the other HDTVI Cameras KT&C has to offer!
